An Online Intimacy Course for Couples

It’s Not About More Sex. It’s About Both of You Truly Wanting It.

For couples who want sex to feel fun, easy, and natural again — not like one more thing to manage.

Make sex enjoyable again — for both of you.

And yes — sometimes she’s the one who wants more. Almost everything written about mismatched desire quietly assumes it’s the man. Plenty of couples don’t look like that, and the ones who don’t tend to feel like the only ones in the world. You’re not. Whichever side of this you’re on, and whoever your partner is, you’ll find yourself on this page.

AASECT Certified Sex Therapist Author of Sex Without Stress Host of The Better Sex Podcast Hundreds of couples

Here’s the truth.

In a great relationship, both people feel fulfilled. If sex has become stressful, awkward, or absent, it usually means one or both of you isn’t getting what you need. And that tension doesn’t stay in the bedroom — it seeps into everything else.

Sex doesn’t just “happen” on its own.

Desire needs care, attention, and a clear approach — just like exercise, or anything else that matters. Yet most couples expect sex to take care of itself, even when there are real obstacles in the way.

Intimacy With Ease® isn’t about forcing sex. It’s about helping both of you actually want it — so intimacy becomes a source of joy, connection, and playfulness instead of stress or obligation.

If you’re the one who doesn’t fit the story

If you’re the woman who wants more, you’ve probably wondered what’s wrong with you for wanting it — whether you’re too much, whether needing this makes you somehow less of a wife. If you’re the man who wants less, you’ve wondered the same thing, with an extra layer on top, because the world acts like your desire is supposed to be automatic and yours alone to supply.

Neither of you is broken. You’re in a dynamic almost nobody says out loud — and it works the same way whoever your partner is.

Why This Program Is Different

No pressure, no shame — just steps that actually work.

No performing

Nothing here asks you to fake it

You won’t be told to push through, schedule harder, or talk yourself into wanting something you don’t. That approach is what got you here.

Clear the way

Remove the obstacles blocking desire

Desire doesn’t need to be manufactured. It needs the invisible things standing in its way taken out of the way first.

Start solo

One of you can lead

You don’t need your partner fully on board on day one. You’ll get guidance for taking the lead even when the other one is hesitant.

Beyond the bedroom

Exercises that change how you are together

The shifts show up in how you talk, flirt, and reach for each other all day — not just at night.

Imagine this for your relationship:

  • Looking forward to bedtime instead of quietly dreading it.
  • Playfulness and flirtation showing up in ordinary days again.
  • A deeper, more secure connection that strengthens the whole relationship.
  • Being wanted back — and believing it.

This isn’t a pipe dream. Hundreds of couples have lived it.

A couple laughing and jumping on their bed together

We’d love to talk about what would work for the two of you.

Let’s Talk About What Works for You →
A calendar with a date circled in red

If you’re simply putting sex on the calendar…

Scheduling it doesn’t make either of you want it.

Treating sex like something that just needs to get done only increases the obligation — and the frustration that comes with it.

Ask yourself honestly: has that approach actually worked so far? For most of the couples who come to me, the answer is no.

That’s okay. You’ve just been focusing on the wrong thing.

Shift the focus from having sex to both of you actually wanting it.

Here’s the irony: by trying so hard to make sex happen, most couples end up with encounters that aren’t satisfying for either of them. When it’s a to-do item, nobody has any fun. When desire leads, intimacy gets playful, exciting, and genuinely connecting.

We’d love to talk about whether this would be right for the two of you.

The Real Obstacles to Desire

…and how most couples get this wrong.

Most people think low desire means someone is broken, or that sex should just happen naturally if you love each other. Neither is true — and believing it only piles on guilt, pressure, and frustration.

Mistake #1

Thinking a lack of desire means something’s wrong

When desire fades, most people land somewhere in here:

  • Feeling guilty or ashamed
  • Quietly deciding you’re the problem
  • Waiting, and hoping desire shows up again on its own

Feeling bad about yourself has never once created desire. It usually does the opposite.

When the shame cuts the other way

This one lands differently depending on which side of it you’re standing on. If you’re the woman who wants more, “something’s wrong with me” sounds like I’m too much. I’m demanding. No wife should have to ask for this. If you’re the man who wants less, it sounds like I’m supposed to be the one who always wants it. What does it say about me that I don’t?

You’re both measuring yourselves against a story about how desire is supposed to be distributed between you. That story is wrong — and it’s costing you both.

Mistake #2

Having sex out of obligation

Some people try to show up for their partner anyway, doing what they think is expected. It starts with genuinely good intentions. Over time:

  • Date nights start to feel like chores
  • Scheduled sex creates dread instead of anticipation
  • Intimacy becomes one more box to check

Desire thrives when it’s wanted. It shuts down when it’s owed.

Mistake #3

Believing better communication will fix it

Communication skills matter — I teach them, and you’ll use them here. But getting more skillful at discussing the problem doesn’t make the problem go away. Until you address what’s actually happening with desire, the best conversation in the world won’t make either of you want sex.

Talking about it better is not the same as solving it.

The Shift That Actually Works

After more than a decade in my sex therapy practice — and a book written to reach further than my office ever could — it comes down to something this simple:

Stop focusing on having sex.
Start focusing on wanting sex.

When both of you feel desire, sex becomes:

  • Playful instead of pressured
  • Exciting instead of obligatory
  • A source of connection instead of a source of stress

And here’s the best part: one of you can start this. When you take intentional steps, your partner tends to respond — not because you pushed them, but because the whole dynamic between you changed.

Doesn’t it take two to tango?

Can you change your sex life if your partner isn’t interested?

Yes — by taking the lead. Intimacy does take two, but so does a dance: when one person changes their steps, the rhythm changes for both. You do not need your partner’s buy-in to begin.

Here’s what most people don’t realize about the partner who seems uninterested: more often than not, they’re hesitating for the very same reasons you are. Fear of pressure. Fear of failing at it again. Fear of making an already tender thing worse. Their reluctance usually isn’t indifference — it’s self-protection.

Most of my students start this program alone. And the changes they make tend to be noticeable enough that their partner comes along on their own, without being asked twice. One person really can start a shift that changes the whole relationship.

You’re not doing this to your partner. You’re changing what it’s like to be in the room with you.

And you won’t be guessing at how to bring them in. You’ll get step-by-step guidance for inviting your partner into the process with curiosity and teamwork instead of pressure and guilt — including exactly what to say when you’ve already had this conversation a dozen times and it’s gone badly every time.

If you’re the one who’s been doing the asking

There’s a particular exhaustion that comes with always being the one who brings it up. For a woman in that position, it’s heavier still — because on top of the rejection, you’re doing something you were never given a script for. Pursuing is supposed to be his job. So every time you initiate, you’re not just risking a no, you’re risking feeling like you shouldn’t have had to ask at all.

Taking the lead here is not more of that. It’s the opposite: it’s the part where you finally get to put the asking down.

When you’re the one who doesn’t fit the story

What if she’s the one who wants more sex?

Then you are in very good company, and far more of it than anyone lets on. In my own practice, somewhere between a third and half of the straight couples I see have the woman as the higher desire partner. You would never guess that from the way this gets talked about.

Almost everything written about mismatched desire — the jokes, the articles, the advice from well-meaning friends — assumes the man is the one pursuing and the woman is the one declining. When your relationship runs the other way, you don’t just have a desire discrepancy. You have one that nobody seems to have written anything for.

So you carry it privately. Both of you.

A man sitting on the edge of the bed with his head in his hands while his partner sits behind him
If you’re the woman who wants more

You’ve started wondering whether wanting it makes you the problem.

“Am I too much? Should I just stop bringing it up?”

You may have stopped initiating, because another no costs more than simply going without. You may have learned to manage your own desire quietly — timing it, shrinking it, apologizing for it. And underneath sits a question you’ve probably never said out loud to anyone: if he’s not the one reaching for me, does that mean he doesn’t want me?

It’s a lonely place. Not least because the world keeps telling you this is the one problem you were never supposed to have.

If you’re the man who wants less

You’ve been told your whole life that this is supposed to be automatic.

“What’s wrong with me that I don’t want this?”

So when it isn’t automatic, you don’t just feel mismatched — you feel like you’re failing at something men aren’t supposed to have to try at. You might be going to bed later than her. Staying busy. Bracing every time the subject comes near.

Not because you don’t love her. Because every attempt has started to feel like a test you’ve already failed, and one more failure is more than you want to hand her.

One man came to me after years of trying. He’d done programs. He’d done therapy. Most of it at his wife’s urging, and nearly all of it carrying the same quiet message underneath: here is what’s wrong with you, let’s fix it.

What finally changed things for him wasn’t another technique. It was the first time someone told him he wasn’t broken — and meant it.

His wife’s relief was every bit as big as his. She had never wanted him carrying that shame. She just wanted to be wanted, and hadn’t known how to ask for that without it landing on him as one more verdict.

That knot is what this program is built to untie — not by getting one of you to want less, or the other to want more on command, but by taking the shame out of the middle of it so desire has room to show up on its own.

And if you’re reading this as a woman with a wife, or a man with a husband — the same dynamic runs through same-sex relationships too, sometimes louder, because there’s no script at all to measure yourself against. Everything here is for you as well.

Whichever one of you found this page — let’s talk.

But I get it

“It’s not perfect, but it’s not that bad.”

Maybe you’ve noticed a gap between your desire and your partner’s. Maybe you’re the one who’s gone quiet. Either way, the thought of naming it out loud — let alone trying to fix it — can feel like more than you have in you right now.

So it waits. And the reasons for waiting are always reasonable:

  • “We’ll deal with this once the kids are older.”
  • “When work settles down, we’ll have more energy for each other.”
  • “I don’t want to pressure my partner.”
  • “Maybe it’ll just get better on its own.”

Here’s the problem: time doesn’t fix this one.

Some things do resolve on their own. Desire discrepancy isn’t one of them. Every month that passes, a little more stress, guilt, and self-protection settles in. What used to be awkward becomes loaded. What used to be loaded becomes off-limits. Intimacy can erode very quietly while everything else in your life looks completely fine.

And avoidance doesn’t reduce the pressure — it concentrates it. The longer you go, the more weight any single attempt has to carry, until neither of you can face trying, because trying and failing now costs too much.

Eventually one or both of you settles into “I could go my whole life without sex” — not because it’s true, but because it hurts less than wanting.

The good news is that you can start today.

You don’t need to wait for the perfect moment, and you don’t need your partner to go first. One person acting with intention sets off a ripple that changes the whole dynamic. Intimacy With Ease® gives you the roadmap:

  • Discover what actually sparks desire for each of you
  • Remove the obstacles that make sex feel like work
  • Talk about it in ways that invite curiosity instead of defensiveness
  • Build intimacy that feels easy, playful, and safe

Finding Desire Without Pressure

How do you get desire back when you can’t force it?

You don’t manufacture desire. You create the conditions where it can show up on its own — and then you get out of its way.

1

Take the pressure off

Let go of the expectations about timing, frequency, and performance that turned sex into something you can pass or fail. Nothing grows under a grade.

2

Find out what actually excites each of you

Not what’s supposed to. The specific sensations, situations, and kinds of attention that genuinely light each of you up — which you may never have been asked directly.

3

Take small, deliberate steps

Flirting. Touch that isn’t going anywhere in particular. Conversations driven by curiosity rather than negotiation. Small things, repeated, change the whole climate.

And one of you can begin. Often the other one meets you there — curiosity replacing resistance, playfulness replacing obligation.

“Life changing for us”

This program took our sex life to the next level. We’re in a significantly better place as a couple! This year we added “Jessa” to our family tradition Thanksgiving tree because we’re so grateful we found you.

We’d love to chat about how we could help.

Make Desire Fun Again, Together

Knowing what sparks desire is only the beginning.

The change happens when you actually put it into practice — and when doing so feels playful instead of like one more assignment.

  • Turn stress into connection with exercises simple enough that you’ll actually do them
  • Look forward to sex instead of managing it
  • Treat your own pleasure as something that matters, which is itself what revives desire
  • Bring back the flirtation and curiosity that pull a partner in without a word of nagging

Even if you start on your own, the shift in how you’re showing up does the inviting for you. This isn’t only about sex. It’s about building intimacy that’s genuinely fun and easy — until wanting each other stops being the problem you’re solving and goes back to being one of the good parts of your life.

Discussion Prompts

Conversations and journaling exercises that open desire up naturally, instead of putting either of you on the spot.

Action Steps

Real-world practices for discovering and honoring what genuinely interests each of you.

Self-Paced

Yours for a minimum of 12 months, so you move at your own speed. No schedule, no cohort, nothing to fall behind on.

Here’s what you’ll walk away with

  • An understanding of why desire fades — including why it isn’t anyone’s fault, and what actually brings it back
  • Freedom from the pressure and expectation that turned sex into a chore
  • Access to desire that’s been dormant, and sexual experiences that genuinely excite both of you
  • A way to bring your partner in without nagging, guilt, or another argument
  • Step-by-step exercises, so the change happens in your actual life and not just in theory

See what’s waiting for you inside

Anyone can rekindle desire — even if it feels like you’ve tried everything.

Intimacy With Ease module one: Feel Hope
Module One

Break through feeling so stuck.

Feel Hope

Why desire fades even in genuinely happy couples — and why it is never too late to turn it around.

Inside this module

  • Spot the hidden traps that deepen a low-desire cycle
  • See a clear path forward that turns frustration into curiosity
  • Feel genuine optimism again, because a sex life that delights you both is possible

Why you’ll love it: Hope is not a small thing when you’ve been without it. This is the piece people usually pay for by the hour.

Intimacy With Ease module two: Eliminate Pressure
Module Two

Turn obligation into ease.

Eliminate Pressure

Stop making intimacy feel like homework. Desire only thrives where there’s freedom.

Inside this module

  • Find and remove the invisible pressures that shut desire down
  • Dissolve the guilt, expectation, and anxiety you’ve been bringing to bed
  • Turn encounters into wins — even when one of you feels checked out

Why you’ll love it: Once the pressure is gone, playfulness comes back on its own. You won’t have to manufacture it.

Intimacy With Ease module three: Attract Your Partner
Module Three

Lead without pushing.

Attract Your Partner

Invite your partner to want this enthusiastically — without guilt, nagging, or another round of the same argument.

Inside this module

  • Communicate in ways that spark curiosity rather than defensiveness
  • Shift resistance into genuine interest
  • Build the sense that you’re on the same team solving this together

Why you’ll love it: When both of you want to show up, everything moves faster — and it feels entirely different getting there.

This module in particular

If you’re a woman who’s been the one initiating, this is the module that changes the most for you. You’ve likely been told to communicate more clearly — and you have, repeatedly, and it hasn’t worked, because the problem was never that your message was unclear. What you’ll learn here is how to make being wanted feel like an invitation rather than an evaluation.

And if you’re the man on the receiving end of those conversations, this is where they stop feeling like performance reviews.

Intimacy With Ease module four: Access Desire
Module Four

Desire isn’t gone — it’s waiting for the right keys.

Access Desire

Reawaken natural arousal for both of you, even if it’s been dormant for years.

Inside this module

  • Understand why desire stalls, and what specifically is blocking yours
  • Practice bringing attention back to pleasure and connection
  • Make intimacy feel magnetic and mutual instead of one-sided

Why you’ll love it: Desire behaves like a muscle. Use it together and sex becomes something you both actually crave.

Intimacy With Ease module five: Integrate Through Play
Module Five

Now go play.

Integrate Through Play

Turn everything you’ve understood into real-life intimacy you genuinely enjoy.

Inside this module

  • Put it all into practice in playful, flirtatious, low-stakes ways
  • Build a sex life resilient enough to survive whatever life does next
  • Make intimacy a reliable source of joy for both of you

Why you’ll love it: This is the full framework and every exercise — the equivalent of ongoing therapy sessions, at a fraction of the cost.

This is great… but

What if life is too busy right now?

You might be thinking: our schedule is chaos — the kids, work, all of it. Shouldn’t we wait until things settle down?

I’ve been doing this long enough to tell you honestly: things don’t settle down. There is always something with a better claim on your attention than this. That’s precisely how the elephant in the room gets to stay in the room for years.

You don’t need to overhaul your life to change your sex life.

This program was built for people with too much going on. It’s self-paced, so there’s no cohort to keep up with and nothing to fall behind on. The exercises are small enough to fit into an ordinary week — that’s deliberate, because anything bigger doesn’t get done, and a program you don’t do doesn’t work.

You can take what fits, leave what doesn’t for now, and come back to it. You’ve got a minimum of 12 months with the material, so it waits for you rather than the other way around.

What you get isn’t one more thing on the list. It’s less pressure, more connection, and a relationship that feels lighter to be inside of — in the middle of the chaos, not after it ends.

“Now we’re not just having more sex — it’s better than ever.”

Connection is now the main goal over a physical outcome. Our intimate time together is play.

This is a huge weight off me — truly a breakthrough to find new ways to be sexy together!

“For normal people who want sex to be easy.”

I was looking for something like this for years. I tried all kinds of things, from woo-woo tantra stuff to run of the mill programs. Yours is so different. The whole system works. It gave me actual steps to take to make easy wins, and it made it easy to talk to my partner and work with him to create a positive cycle.

Is this the right fit for you?

This is for you if…

  • You’re in an otherwise good relationship, but sex has somehow become the problem
  • You want the best relationship with your partner that you can have
  • You want to work on this as a team, and you’re willing to do your part
  • You care about your partner’s happiness as much as your own
  • You’re willing to focus on what you can actually change

This isn’t for you if…

  • Your relationship needs significant work before sex can even be addressed
  • You aren’t particularly concerned with whether your partner is happy
  • You want your partner to change and aren’t willing to look at your own part in the dynamic
  • You’re already one foot out of the relationship
One more thing, if you’ve been wondering

Nothing on this list has anything to do with which of you wants more. Higher desire, lower desire, woman, man — the only thing that actually predicts whether this works is whether you’re both fundamentally on each other’s side. If you are, the direction the discrepancy runs in doesn’t change the outcome. It only changes where we start.

Are you ready to make sex fun and easy — for both of you?

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of results can I expect?

I set out to create a step-by-step system that causes a real breakthrough in your experience of desire and your sex life overall. You don’t just learn what to change — you get action steps, so you know what to actually do. You’ll get the experience of producing real results for yourself.

Shouldn’t sex be natural if you’re with the right person?

It’s a common myth, but no. Struggling doesn’t mean you’re with the wrong person, or that something is wrong with you or your partner. Sexual difficulties are extremely common, and it’s completely okay to have to invest time and energy into understanding what’s happening and changing it.

I’m the woman who wants more sex than my husband. Is this program for me?

Yes — and you are far from alone. In my own practice, somewhere between a third and half of the straight couples I see have the woman as the higher desire partner.

This program is built around desire discrepancy itself, not around one particular configuration of it. What’s different when you’re the woman who wants more is mostly the extra layer you’re carrying: the sense that you’re too much, or that you shouldn’t have had to ask in the first place. That gets addressed directly rather than skipped over.

And if you’re the lower desire man in that pairing, the same holds for you. Nothing in this program treats you as the thing that needs fixing.

I’m struggling with pain, sexual dysfunction, or chronic illness. Will this course work for me?

The course is especially useful for people dealing with these complicating factors. You may also need medical treatment for the conditions affecting you, but the course can help you find ways to engage sexually and increase your sense of pleasure and connection with your partner. Even if certain sexual activities aren’t available to you, this is about opening up the possibilities that are.

Can I do this course without my partner?

Yes. It’s completely normal for one of you to be more interested in tackling this than the other — as you’ll learn in the course, there’s always one person more interested in sex than the other, and usually one person more interested in the course than the other, too.

You can absolutely work through it on your own and change your part of the dynamic. You also get my entire Entice Your Partner program included, to help you talk to them effectively and get them enthusiastically on board.

Parts of the course — the Integrate Through Play phase — are designed for your partner to be an active participant, but even there, you’ll find ways to implement the ideas yourself.

How much time will it take to complete the course?

That’s ultimately up to you. But if you give me about half an hour a day for 60 days, you’ll walk away with everything you need to create a sex life you can look forward to.

And if 60 days sounds like a lot to add to your existing to-do list — Intimacy With Ease® is the antidote to overwhelm, not another source of it. It’s designed to take you step by step so you can take the hassle and stress out of your sex life, which removes an enormous mental load.

What can I expect when I join?

You’ll receive an email immediately upon completing your enrollment. Your purchase includes instant access to all of the material, with updates.

How long do I have access to the course?

You have access for a minimum of 12 months, and in practice for as long as the program exists — which I intend to be a very long time. Log in to your member portal whenever you like and it will be there, including any updates I make to it.

Access to the coaching calls depends on which package you choose, and we can talk that through on your consult call.

How does your guarantee policy work?

We’ll cover this on the free consult call, but if you join one of our coaching packages, we offer a guarantee. You must have opted in to the coaching membership group to be eligible.

If you’ve completed the entire program and either don’t feel a noticeable shift in intimacy and connection early on, or you get a clear final answer that you or your partner won’t do anything more about your sex life, email us within 60 days of purchase at info@intimacywithease.com. We’ll keep working with you in our private coaching space until you do — at no extra charge.

To qualify, you must:

  • Both watch the entire course, all of the videos
  • Attend 6 coaching calls, or submit questions and watch the replays where available
  • Submit your weekly success plan every week
What’s included in the coaching package? And the deluxe package?

The coaching package includes 3 months inside the coaching membership group. I host at least 8 calls a month: calls just for higher desire partners, calls just for lower desire partners, laser coaching calls for couples to attend together, and anonymous Q&A calls. If you can’t attend live, you can submit questions for the Q&A calls and watch the recording. You also get 3 months of access to a private community for support between calls, and you can extend that month to month if you choose.

The deluxe package includes all of that, plus up to 8 private 30-minute coaching calls and 3 months of voice message access directly to me. I use the Voxer app — you can record up to 10 voice messages a week and I’ll respond with a voice message.

Can an online course really work for something this personal?

Yes — and in some ways it has real advantages over sitting in a therapy office.

You can go at your own pace instead of an hour a week. You can go back over anything as many times as you need, which matters, because this material tends to land differently the second time through. And it’s completely private — which, for plenty of people, is the difference between doing this work and never starting it.

The bigger thing is that this course is built around action. It isn’t a pile of information about desire. Every part of it tells you what to actually do — the conversations to have, the exercises to try, the steps to take this week. That’s what produces change, and it’s the part most online programs leave out.

It’s a good fit if you’re a solid team in other ways, there’s love and goodwill between you, and you’re serious about taking action. And if it turns out a course isn’t the right format for you, that’s exactly what the free consult call is for.

I’m here to help

My name is Jessa

AASECT Certified Sex Therapist Author, Sex Without Stress Host, The Better Sex Podcast

I help people who long to share a great sex life with their partner, but who find themselves feeling distant, disconnected, anxious, or at odds about sex instead — because they’ve been struggling with desire discrepancy.

I’ve taken everything I’ve learned as an AASECT certified sex therapist, and everything I’ve seen working with hundreds and hundreds of couples over the years, and built it into a program that can transform your sex life into something you both look forward to.

Intimacy With Ease® isn’t just a description of the problem and what’s got you stuck. It’s an implementation program that walks you through a process where you actually change your experience.

Yes, you’ll learn about the myths and mindsets that will reframe sex for you. But you’ll also go step by step through having the conversations that matter, working out what each of you needs to change, and practicing those changes until they’re simply part of your sex life.

The end result: ease and joy in your sex life — and the ability to adapt to whatever comes at you, now or later.

Take the first step toward a sex life you both want

Every change starts with a decision. You can keep waiting for the right time, or you can begin building the connection and ease you’ve been missing.

You’re not getting advice. You’re getting the complete step-by-step system hundreds of couples have used to reignite desire, drop the pressure and obligation, bring their partner in without a fight, and build a connection that holds up.

And you don’t need both of you signed up to see it work. Most students start alone, take the lead, and watch their partner come along on their own.

The question was never whether this can work. It’s when you want your relationship to feel good again.

Let’s get on a quick consult call and talk it through. No sales pressure, no arm twisting, no shame — just a supportive conversation to help you find the hope in your situation and work out the best next step for you.
