A Membership for the Partner Who Wants More
You Can’t Fix This Alone. But You Can Start Alone.
For the one of you who wants more — when your partner won’t talk about sex, and you’ve run out of ways to bring it up.
Get your partner genuinely on board. No pressure, no fight.
$47 a month. Cancel any time.
Here’s the bind you’re in.
There are two people in your sex life. You can want this to change as much as you like — read everything, try everything, be endlessly patient about it — and you still can’t get far on your own. That isn’t a personal failing. It’s arithmetic.
And your partner has already made it clear they don’t want to deal with this.
Maybe it turns into a fight. Maybe they go silent, or agree to talk about it and then the conversation never happens. Maybe you’ve stopped raising it at all, because every attempt seems to cost you something and change nothing.
So you’re the one holding it. You keep track of how long it’s been. You read the room before you reach over. You decide, most nights, that tonight isn’t worth the risk of asking. It’s a lonely job, and after enough time it stops feeling like a problem between the two of you and starts feeling like a verdict on you.
Here’s what I want you to know. Your partner’s resistance is almost never about loving you less, and it is almost never permanent. It’s about what they believe this conversation is going to cost them — the guilt, the pressure, the sense that they’re about to be handed a problem they can’t solve. Change what the conversation costs, and most partners come to the table.
This is not a way to talk your partner into sex. Nothing here is a technique for getting a yes out of someone who means no. It’s how to make this a subject the two of you can actually discuss — so your partner stops bracing and starts participating.
If what you want is leverage, you’ll hate this. If what you want is your partner back on your side, you’re in the right place.
Does any of this sound familiar?
You’re not asking for much. You’re asking for your partner.
- You’ve raised it before, and it went badly enough that you’re careful now.
- You can tell when they’re heading off a night — and you’ve learned not to say so.
- You’ve tried being patient. You’ve tried being direct. Neither one moved it.
- You feel guilty for wanting more, and resentful that you feel guilty.
- You’ve started doing the maths on how long it’s been, and then wishing you hadn’t.
- Some part of you has begun to wonder whether this is simply how it’s going to be.
If you recognised yourself in most of that, nothing has gone wrong with you. You’ve been trying to solve a two-person problem with one person’s effort, which is the only move available to you — and it’s the one move that can’t work.
What you’re missing isn’t willpower or patience. You have plenty of both, or you’d have given up long ago. What’s missing is a way in: a way to raise this that doesn’t put your partner on the defensive the moment you open your mouth.
That part is learnable. It’s most of what this membership is.
The part almost nobody sees
Your partner isn’t refusing you. They’re protecting themselves.
When your partner shuts this conversation down, you experience it as a verdict on you. That’s the natural reading. After hundreds of couples, I can tell you it’s almost never what’s actually happening.
Your side of it
The partner who wants moreEvery time they go quiet, you hear the same sentence underneath it: not with you, not any more. So you stop asking. Then you resent that you stopped. Then you wonder how long a person is supposed to live like this without saying anything.
“If they wanted me, I wouldn’t have to work this hard for it.”
Their side of it
The partner who’s stopped wanting itThey aren’t weighing up whether to have sex with you. They’re bracing for a conversation in which they are the problem — where no answer they can give avoids disappointing you, and no amount of trying makes desire arrive on demand. The silence isn’t a judgement. It’s what someone does when every available answer feels like failing you again.
“I love you. I don’t know how to give you this, and I can’t bear letting you down one more time.”
Two people, lonely in the same room, for opposite reasons. That’s the actual problem — not desire. And it’s exactly why “just tell them how you feel” has never worked for you. Telling someone how you feel, when they already believe they’re failing you, simply hands them one more count against themselves.
So you change what the conversation costs them — before you ask for anything at all.
What you’re actually aiming for
“On board” is a specific thing. Here’s what it looks like.
The subject cools down
You can raise it without bracing
Sex stops being the radioactive topic in your house. You can mention it without scanning their face for the flinch, and they can hear it without needing to defend themselves. That alone changes the temperature of a marriage.
They join in
Your partner starts bringing things up too
Not just tolerating the conversation — contributing to it. Telling you what’s been hard for them, what they’ve been afraid of, what they’d actually want if the pressure weren’t there. Most people in your position have never heard any of it.
The sides dissolve
It becomes a problem you share
It stops being your complaint and their shortcoming, and becomes something the two of you are working on together. You go from negotiating against each other to sitting on the same side of the table.
This membership will not hand you a transformed sex life. That’s a longer piece of work, it takes both of you, and I have a whole program for it.
This one has a single job: get the two of you working on it together. That’s the door everything else is on the other side of — and right now it’s the door that’s shut. Open it, and you have options. Leave it shut, and nothing else you try can reach.
What’s inside the membership
Five things to learn, in the order that makes them work.
The order isn’t decorative. Every module before the last one exists to make the last one survivable — so that by the time you sit down and raise this with your partner, you’re not improvising. It’s self-paced, and it’s yours for as long as your membership is active.
Learn to talk about this without it turning into a fight.
Communicate Effectively
You’ve tried talking about this before. It went badly, and now you’re careful. This is the skill set that makes the conversation survivable for both of you.
Inside this module
- See your partner’s perspective without abandoning your own
- Catch the moments that tip a conversation into conflict — and step out of them
- Understand what chasing the last word has been costing you
- Manage your own reactions, so you can stay the steady one
Why you’ll love it: Members tell me this is the part that improved everything else in their marriage, not only the sex.
Most partners need to feel close before they want anything.
Build Emotional Connection
Here’s the paradox sitting in the middle of your situation. One of you feels close through sex. The other needs to feel close before sex is even thinkable. If you each wait for the other to move first, you wait forever.
Inside this module
- Work out what your partner actually needs, not what you’d need in their place
- See how your efforts so far have been holding the pattern in place
- Build the kind of closeness that makes desire possible again
Why you’ll love it: This is where most people discover they’ve been enormously generous — in entirely the wrong currency.
Different libidos are normal. The suffering isn’t.
Navigate Your Differences
There is always one person more interested in sex than the other, at least over time. Why would any two people want exactly the same amount? The difference isn’t the problem. What the two of you have made it mean is.
Inside this module
- The three truths about desire differences that decide whether they hurt you
- How to bridge the gap without either of you performing
- What it costs you to take your partner’s desire personally — and how to stop
Why you’ll love it: People often feel the pressure come off within an hour of this one. It reframes the thing you’ve been treating as a verdict.
You both know the steps. Neither of you chose them.
Change Your Dance
You and your partner have a private, largely unspoken routine for how sex gets started, deflected and decided. Because almost none of it is said out loud, it never gets revised. It just hardens.
Inside this module
- See who initiates, how they do it, and why it so reliably produces a no
- Name the patterns that have made sex feel mechanical or predictable
- Change your own steps — the half of the dance you actually control
- Get ahead of your partner’s defensiveness before it shows up
Why you’ll love it: This is the module where people stop feeling slightly crazy. The dance is real. Once you can see it, you can change it.
The conversation itself, done properly.
Approach Your Partner
This is what the other four have been building toward: sitting down with your partner and raising this in a way that leaves them willing rather than cornered.
Inside this module
- What to actually say — the words, not the theory
- How to lower their defences before you begin
- What to do if they shut down anyway, which is the part nobody prepares you for
Why you’ll love it: You’ll walk in with a plan instead of a hope. Most people have been improvising this conversation for years.

You won’t be doing this on your own
Live group calls with me, twice a month.
Every person in this situation hits a moment the material didn’t anticipate. Your partner says something you weren’t ready for. The conversation goes sideways at the exact point it was meant to go well. You get one good response and then a fortnight of nothing, and you can’t tell whether to push or wait.
That’s what the calls are for. You bring the specifics of your own relationship to someone who has watched hundreds of couples through this, and you get an actual answer rather than a guess.
- Ask about your own situation and get direct feedback from me, in sessions open only to members
- Listen to everyone else’s questions, which is often where the useful part arrives — people ask things you didn’t know to ask
- Get unstuck in the same week, instead of losing a month to a problem that takes ten minutes to solve
At least two calls every month, at a range of days and times so you can find one that fits. Dates are set a month or two in advance and listed in your course library. Come to every one or come to none — plenty of people mostly listen, and that works too.
Instant access, the moment you join
Everything that comes with your membership
- All five modules, in order — communicating without a fight, building the connection your partner needs, navigating your differences in desire, changing your half of the dance, and approaching your partner so they’re willing rather than cornered
- Reflection questions and action steps for each module, so the work happens in your actual relationship rather than in your head
- Conversations and activities for building emotional intimacy, which is the groundwork most partners need before sex is even discussable
- Live group coaching calls with me, at least twice a month, to ask about your own situation and get a real answer
- Everything new I add, at no extra cost, for as long as your membership is active
- Your own pace. Work through it in a fortnight or a year. Nothing expires and nothing is drip-fed at you
You’ll have an email in your inbox within a minute of joining, and access to all of it immediately. There’s nothing to wait for and no cohort to join.
$47 a month. Cancel any time.
What it costs
$47 a month, and you can stop whenever you like.
For the sake of comparison
$47 a month — less than a fifth of a single hour of my time. It isn’t the same as having me to yourself for an hour. It’s the same thinking, at a price you don’t have to deliberate over for a fortnight.
I don’t offer refunds on the membership. You get everything the moment you join, so there’d be nothing to hand back.
What you can do instead is cancel at any time. Stop before your next billing date and you won’t be charged again. Come back later and you rejoin at whatever the going rate is then.
Before you join
Is this the right thing for where you are?
This is for you if…
- Your relationship is otherwise good, and sex is the one thing that’s gone wrong
- Your partner isn’t willing to work on this yet — or won’t discuss it at all
- You’re prepared to begin on your own rather than wait for them to be ready
- You’re willing to look at your own part in how this got stuck
- You care about your partner’s experience of this as much as your own
This isn’t for you if…
- What you want is a script for getting your partner to agree to more sex
- Your relationship needs serious repair before sex can be on the agenda at all
- You aren’t especially concerned with whether your partner is happy
- You’re already one foot out of the door
- Your partner is already on board — you’ve outgrown this and want the full course
If your partner is already willing, you don’t need this — you need the full program for couples. Take a look at Intimacy With Ease®.
If you’re the partner who wants less, and you’ve landed here trying to understand what’s happening on the other side — start with the free desire discrepancy resources. There’s a lot there and none of it costs anything.
We had stopped having sex 5 years ago and never talked about it. It became this big elephant in the room. I didn’t know how to bring it up, and I didn’t want to pressure her. This whole program has been so eye opening. I started listening more and really trying to see things from her perspective. Because I built that trust, when I brought up sex, she was actually relieved. She wanted to talk about it, too, and now we are being completely open about what happened and on the same page that we want sex to be a part of our lives.

Whenever I used to try to talk about sex, we’d end up in a fight, or at least with tension. I admit, I used to get frustrated, and I was so focused on my own disappointment. This program has shown me how much I was missing about my partner’s experience, and it’s totally changed how I show up. Now, we’ve been talking and feel like we’re on the same page, like we’re supporting each other.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if my partner won’t take part in any of this?
That’s the assumption the whole membership is built on. You do this on your own. Your partner doesn’t need to know you’ve joined, doesn’t need to read anything, and doesn’t need to agree to a single conversation until you’re ready to have one. The work is on your half of the dynamic — which happens to be the half that’s been keeping the door shut.
How is this different from the Intimacy With Ease® course?
Different jobs. This membership is for when your partner isn’t on board yet, and its entire aim is getting the two of you working on this together. Intimacy With Ease is the full program for couples who are both already in — it’s where you’d go next, and this material is included inside it.
Most people start here, because it’s a much smaller step and because it comes with live access to me twice a month.
What happens when I join?
You’ll have an email within a minute. Everything unlocks at once — all five modules, the reflection questions and action steps, and the schedule for the coaching calls. Nothing is drip-fed at you, and there’s no cohort to wait for.
When are the coaching calls?
At least twice a month, across a range of days and times so there’s usually one that fits your week. Dates are set a month or two in advance and listed in your course library. In practice there are often more than two.
How long do I have access?
For as long as your membership is active — that covers the course material and the calls both. If you cancel and want to come back later, you rejoin at whatever the going rate is then.
Can I get a refund if I’m not happy?
I don’t offer refunds — everything is available to you the moment you join, so there’s nothing to hand back. What you can do is cancel at any time. Stop before your next billing date and you won’t be charged again.
Shouldn’t sex be natural if you’re with the right person?
It’s a common myth, but no. Struggling doesn’t mean you’re with the wrong person, or that something is wrong with you or your partner. Sexual difficulties are extremely common, and it’s entirely okay to have to put time and energy into understanding what’s going on and changing it. It’s also normal to avoid the topic and to find it hard to talk about.
My partner is dealing with pain, a sexual difficulty, or chronic illness. Will this still work?
This is especially useful when there are complicating factors like these. What it asks of you is compassion in how you raise the subject — and a partner who’s managing pain or illness has every reason to brace for this conversation, which makes approaching it well matter more, not less.
What makes people successful with this?
The people who get somewhere are the ones willing to focus on their own role and do what they can to make this an approachable topic for their partner. It isn’t about how bad things have become — I’ve watched people turn round situations far more stuck than yours. It’s about who’s willing to move first.
Who you’d be learning from
I’m Jessa
I work with people who want to share a good sex life with their partner and find themselves distant, anxious or at odds about it instead — because they’ve been living with a difference in desire and no idea what to do about it.
Most of them arrive the way you probably did: knowing exactly what they want, and having no idea how to say it to the one person who needs to hear it. They’ve usually tried. It usually went badly. And then they got careful, and careful turned into years.
So I took what I’ve learned as a certified sex therapist, and what I’ve watched happen with hundreds and hundreds of couples, and built it into a process for that specific problem — the getting-them-on-board part, which has to come before any of the rest is even possible.
You’ll learn the myths and mindsets that reframe this for you. You’ll also work step by step through preparing for the conversation that matters, and having it in a way your partner can actually receive.
You’ve been carrying this on your own for a long time.
You don’t have to keep doing it alone, and you don’t have to wait for your partner to be ready before anything can change. Someone has to move first. It was always going to be you — that’s why you’re on this page — and this is where you stop improvising it.
Five modules, live calls with me twice a month, and everything available the minute you join. If it isn’t helping, you cancel. That’s the whole risk.
